I Love to Run

Early in 2010 I committed to running the Salmon Idaho Marathon. After a successful and enjoyable time training and running the race I set my sights high for 2011. I will be running three ultra marathons and a marathon in 2011; The American River 50 Mile Endurance Run in April, the Pocatello 50 Kilometer Trail Ultra Marathon in May, the Salmon Marathon in September, and the Le Griz 50 Mile Ultra Marathon in October. I started this blog during week 16 of my AR 50 training program. This blog is not meant to be a "LOOK AT WHAT I AM DOING" exercise. I am a very private person and do not tolerate well the spotlight. My purpose in creating this blog is to: 1. Help me be accountable to followers for my running goals. For example, It is easy to slack off a marathon training plan (I have done this multiple times). When family and friends are "in the know" I will be less likely to be sitting on the couch watching TV while stuffing my face with M&M and Milk Dud laced popcorn (why oh why can't the bad things be good for us!) and doing what is required to reach my running goals. 2. I believe in the concept of keeping a journal but really suck at it. Plus my handwriting is atrocious. This blog will be a fun way to preserve at least a part of my life for my posterity.
